As the crow files, ninety Kilometers south - west of Kathmanndu, is the Royal Chitwan National park . Widely acknowledged as one of the best national park in Asia , it spreads over a total area 967 square kilometers.. In the north- west section of the park is an island known as the Bandarjhola. Surrounded by the Narayani River , this unique island consists of riverine forest, tall grassland, marshland, numerous inlets and oxbow lakes. Such a diverse combination of nature is found only here on this island providing a perfect habitat for wildlife.
THE WILDLIFE
Here where the famous elusive Royal Bengal Tiger prowls and the endangered Great One- Horned Rhinoceros you will also fine leopards, sloth bear bison, wild boar, dear monkey, crocodiles, pythons, freshwater dolphins and many other smaller animals and reptiles. For the bird watcher, it is a paradise island with over 450 species of exotic birds, many of which are migratory making Chitwan their winter home.
WILDLIFE ACTIVITIES
One of the best ways to view the flora and fauna of Chitwan is from elephant back enabling you to penetrate deep into the Jungle through tall grassland, but there are many other exciting ways too. Our experienced naturalists and nature guides will take you on jungle walk, bird watching, for boat ride to seek out both the Marsh Mugger and Gharial crocodiles, and to observe wildlife from one of our watchtowers.

PROGRAMS:
Our programs during your stay at Chitwan has been designed in such a way so as to make your stay enjoyable but exciting at the same time. However, viewing of wildlife at their best require early morning and late afternoon excursions which is a matter beyond our control and guest are advised to comply to the schedule for own advantage.

Day 01 : Arrive, meet & transfer via boat across the Naryani River to IJR. On reaching resort, our Guest Relations officer will brief guests

3: 30 pm -Elephant Safari /Jungle walk Nature Walk with Boat Ride
8: 00 pm - Dinner
Day 02: 5:30 am - Wake Up. Call followed by tea /coffee
6:00 am - Bird Watching / Elephant Safari / Jungle Walk
8:00 am - Breakfast
9:30 am - Crocodile Walk. A 45-minute upstream of the Narayani River . Board boats to observe crocodile along the bank while floating back to the camp.
1: 00 pm - Lunch
3: 30 pm Elephant Safari / Jungle Walk / visit observation Tower / nature Walk with boat Ride
8: 00 pm - Dinner
Day 03 : 5:30 am - Walk Up Call followed by tea / coffee
6:00 am Bird Watching / Elephant Safari / Jungle Walk
8:00 am - Breakfast

Day 03: 9:30 am - boat Excursion to Amaltari Ghat followed by a full day Nature Trek to the Churia Hills.Pack lunch enroute & return by land rover / Jeep Option
9:30 am - Visit Tharu Village to see and learn about the ethnic people of Chitwan. Return to Camp

3:30 pm - Boat Excoriation to Amaltari Ghat 7 return by Jeep / land Rover
