Tengboche Monastery Trek

Tengboche sits east of Khumjung. There is a famous monastary (Tengboche Monastary) which has been the heart of Sherpa culture since 1916.The first celibate monastery in Solu Khumbu, it is a community of about 40 monks under the leadership of the Abbot, Tyangboche Rinpoche ( Reincarnate lama).From Tyangboche one can see the abode of Menge Gyalmo Miyo-Lungsangma (Mt Everest), Ama Dablam to the east, Thamserku and Mt.Kangtega to the south, Tawache to the north and Kwangde to the west.Khumbila sits fat and beautiful in the middle of the valley. Below Tyangboche are many big trees, but half wayup are only a few large ones with many small shrubs. Throughout the spring, monsoon and fall, many different flowers bloom. Masur, the incense bush, covers all the high hillsides above Tyangboche. If you walk in this area, the incense will help cure illness and ailments without anymedicine. In this place, you will forget everything and feel peaceful and happy. One of the great Buddhist festivals called Mani Rimdu is performed in this monastary in the month of November. Zangbu (Tyangboche reincarnate lama) is recommended. Day: 01 Arrival in Kathmandu airport transfer to Hotel welcome drink offers by the Hotel reception, 5.30 pm. briefing for your tour& treks schedule check trekking gear
Day: 02 Pick up from the Hotel & sightseeing in historical place in Kathmandu , valley Shyambunath temple Hanuman Dokha Durbar Square , museum and Golden temple of Patan
Day: 03 AM Transfer to Domestic Terminal of the airport for flight to Lukla & trek to Phakdingma (2800 m.)
Day: 04 Phakdingma to Namche Bazaar (3440 m.)
Day: 05 Rest Day in Namche Bazaar for acclimatization.
Day: 06 Namche Bazaar Thyangboche (3870 m.)
