At 3800 m Tengbuche Monastery is well known monastery in the Everest region. The monastery was built in 1916 AD by lama Gelu with strong connection to a mother monastery known as the Rongbuk monastery in Tibet. Manirimdu festival is the most famous festival of the Sherpa people that held during the tenth lunar month of Tibetan calendar and corresponding October and November of the Gregorian calendar. Everest view trek is alternatively known as Tengbuche Monastery trek as well. It covers the splendid view of Mt Everest, Mt Nupse, and the tower of Mt Thamserku just above and also the panorama of Khumbu moutain range. The friendly Sherpa hospitality, Mini Thamel in high himalaya Namche bazar, Tengbuche Manirimdu festival, flora, fauna and wild life of Sagarmatha National park are ingredients to make short 6 days trip life time memorable. This trek starts after 25 minutes scenic mountains flight to Tenzing Hillary air strip in Lukla. The trail heads usual Everest base camp trek and follow, Himalayan fertail land, Sherpa villages via Dudkosi river and entering Sagarmatha National park and Sherpa Capital Namche bazaar. After a day acclimatization hiking in Namche bazaar the trail continuously heads to Tengbuche Monastery. The trip returns on same way back to Lukla in 2 days. This trip is suitable to people with average level of physically fit, passion of walking and eager to explore the Everest area in short time.

Day 1 : Arrival at Tribhuvan International airport Kathmandu. Pick up by Sherpa Brothers treks representative, transfer to hotel check in and welcome drink from receptionist. Rest and briefing about trip, O/N in hotel with bed and breakfast
Day 2 : Half day sightseeing around world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley and preparation for the trip. In the evening welcome dinner offer from Sherpa Brothers treks at typical Nepalese cultural restaurant, O/N in hotel with bed and breakfast
Day 3 : Morning scenic flight to Lukla (2,840m / 9318ft) and trek start to Phakding [2,652m / 8701ft], O/N in tea house : Approx 4 hours
Day 4 : Trek to Namche Bazaar [3,446m / 11306ft], O/N in tea house : Approx 5 hours
Day 5 : Rest day, hike to world highest point hotel Everest view hotel (386Om), O/N in tea house : Approx 4 hours
Day 6 : Trek to Tyangbuche [3867m / 12687ft], and explore the old monastery of upper Khumbu region, O/N in tea house : Approx 6 hours
Day 7 : Mountain view in early morning and trek to Manjo [ 2,835m / 9302ft), O/N in tea house : Approx 6 hours
Day 8 : Final day walk to Lukla [2,800m / 9186ft] and trek ends, O/N in tea house : Approx 5 hours
Day 9 : After having early morning breakfast flight to Kathmandu, rest, free time and last minute shopping in Kathmandu , O/N in hotel with bed and breakfast
Day 10 : Extra day for weather contingency in Lukla
Day 11 : As per flight time, pick up from hotel and drop 3 hour earlier to international airport for home departure
This trail mingle mild ranking of usual 6-7 hours walking every day. The trail up to this position demands less amount of physical pace being highest point 3,880 m. However, physically fit, positive attitude & an excellent health are key factor to make your trip amazing and success. The trip is also worth for planning soft first time trekking and hiking experience in the Himalaya attempting to do family holiday, solo to group trip . It is vital that participants with pre-existing medical problems or conditions make these known to Sherpa Brothers Trek at the time of booking.

All our routes are scouted to ensure the trails are safe and the facilities along route are of an acceptable standard. In addition, we have vast experience of trekking at altitude and are trained to deal with Acute Altitude Sickness. However, due to terrain, weather and altitude, risk is not always predictable in the Himalaya. To ensure you have a worry free time with us, personal travel insurance is essential to cover the cost of unforeseen accident, illness or rescue. The costs involved can be large and personally overwhelming in the unlikely event of accident or injury.
All Nepalese staff, guides and porters employed by Sherpa Brothers Pvt. Ltd. are covered locally but we regret that we cannot offer insurance for our clients.
