The Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour is an ideal way to experience face to face of world highest peak Mt Everest...

The Upper Mustang Trekking region in Nepal is a forbidden kingdom, and its alluring route entices you into the remote...
Annapurna Base Camp or “ABC” is used by professional climbers hoping to conquer the iconic peak of Annapurna. This popular trek ascends to the base camp at 4200 meters. The Poon Hill and ABC trek or Annapurna base camp trek trail takes you through the middle of the beautiful Annapurna conservation project area, taking in spectacular views of the wider Annapurna Himalayan mountain range. This classic trek is also known as the ‘Annapurna sanctuary trek’.
Annapurna takes its name from the Hindu goddess of nourishment; Anna meaning ‘food’ or ‘grains’ and purna, ‘fulfillment’. Every year thousands of trekkers visit this trail and alongside Everest Base camp, it is widely regarded as one of the top 10th trekking destinations in the world.
The breathtaking views of the Annapurna Himalaya can first be seen from the lakeside city of Pokhara. Many trekkers will arrive in Pokhara before beginning the trek and a boat trip out on to the lake will not disappoint, with countless famous peaks visible, towering above the city. Once on the trail, spectacular views unfold hour by hour and day by day. In spring time the whole forest turns red, pink and white with rhododendron flowers. The Poon hill and ABC trek route takes trekkers through many ethnic communities including the Magar, Gurung and Thakali and the opportunity to observe the daily lives of these peoples provides a fascinating added cultural dimension to the trek. With the highest point of the trek at a moderately high altitude of 4200 meters, some hiking experience and an average or above level of fitness is recommended. The walking and views in this region are inspiring and this trek certainly deserves it’s famous reputation. It can also serve as an excellent starting point for those looking to undertake some of the more extreme Himalayan treks in the future.
As with all our treks including Poon hill and ABC trek, we can be flexible with the itinerary and can adjust many details according to your time, availability and special interests.

This moderately difficult trek takes 12 days to complete. The highest point is 4,130 meters, and there are 6 hours of walking per day on average. This is one of the best pace trekking routes in Nepal because most of the ascent is gradual and most nights are spent at low to medium altitudes, with the exception of those at MBC and ABC, where nights are spent at high altitude over 3500m and more difficult walking is on the final approach to base camp itself. This is one of the best peace trekking routes in Annapurna Nepal because most of the ascent is gradual and most nights are spent at low to medium altitudes. The trip is also worth for planning medium altitude soft first time trekking and hiking experience in the Himalaya attempting to do a family vacation, solo trip or a trip with friends or group excursion. Despite the fact that this trek also involve physical fitness, it is still advised to have some prior walking experience and to prepare physically by doing some hill walking. It is vital that participants with pre-existing medical problems or conditions make these known to Sherpa Brothers Trek at the time of booking
