Despite a backlog of flights, we left on time and returned to Kathmandu 12 days later having enjoyed fantastic hospitality and wonderful views Everest and surrounding Himalaya our guide Furba Sherpa was gentle, considerate host and ensured a seamless journey from lodge to lodge. Mention should also be made of him rescuing a porter suffering from High altitude Pulmonary Oedema above Machhermo, and thus likely saving his life.
